MEET YOUR CATTPAC BOARD – JIM EASTERBROOK

Jim has lived in Truckee with his wife Amy and daughter Emma for the past 22 years. After earning a Bachelor's degree from UC Davis, Jim taught at North Tahoe Middle School for 6 years. After spending his summers honing his skills as a painter, he decided to embark on building his own painting business in 2001.
Jim says, “I have enjoyed the relationships I've built throughout the years and have loved being a part of the Truckee community. When I'm not running my business, I am passionate about travelling with my family, mountain biking, back country skiing and exploring all the wonderful trails our town has to offer.”
Why did Jim get involved with CATTPAC? He simply states: “I am involved with CATTPAC because it gives me a better sense of community to have a part in the local and state election process. It has allowed me to engage in conversations with others in the committee to understand the importance of electing business friendly individuals in our town and state. CATTPAC benefits the Contractors Association by protecting and preserving the building community. The committee is helping to elect individuals that have the entire association’s best interest in mind.
“During my term on the CATTPAC board I hope to raise the awareness of all association members of the importance of crossing party boundaries to preserve the contractor’s livelihood. I want all association members to recognize that CATTPAC is an important arm of the association that is consciously researching individuals, ballots and initiatives that will help advance our building community.”
