MEET YOUR CATTPAC BOARD - CATTPAC Director Meghan Behm
"I have lived in Lake Tahoe for 20 years. I started Sierra Crest Cabinets with my brother and my mom in 2001. I moved a lot growing up and am so happy to have found the place I love to call home. I enjoy hiking, kayaking, trail running, skiing and snowshoeing. I love living in a place where I get to enjoy all that nature has to offer on a daily basis.
I am involved with CATTPAC because I realize that the only way to ensure my opinion and interests are heard by those who make decisions is by being involved in choosing who the decision makers are and educating myself as to whether or not they will serve my interests. I was tired of hearing about what was happening in the political arena either after the fact or through the lens of other people who have their own biases and agendas.
CATTPAC provides a way for CATT members and the community at large to get a glimpse into what political candidates and referendums benefit our industry and community. I’d like to think that we are also creating relationships with elected officials that facilitate an open dialog and support from them that will help us accomplish changes that are beneficial to our businesses.
I hope that I will help inform people that don’t have the time to dig deeper into candidates and issues affecting the building industry, the health of our communities and our economy. I hope that we will be able to shape a political climate that enhances our industry and livelihoods while maintaining the special environment and community in which we live.
Sierra Crest Cabinets has been serving the north and west shores of Lake Tahoe and Truckee since 2001. We offer kitchen design services as well as cabinetry for every room in a home from kitchens and baths to home offices. We have custom to modular solutions for all cabinetry needs. We facilitate the relationship between homeowners and contractors allowing contractors to focus on the project as a whole while ensuring that the homeowner ends up with the kitchen they envisioned. We pride ourselves on our responsiveness and attention to detail. We want all of our clients to feel that they have received a quality product and beautiful finished product at a price that is fair."
