The morning of June 12th at Gray's Crossing dawned cloudy and chilly, but soon cleared off for beautiful sunny skies.  168 golfers from 40 different CATT companies turned out to play the 18 holes at Gray's Crossing in Truckee.  Cindy Lain with Heller Construction sang a moving rendition of the National Anthem. She sings at the Reno Rodeo and the Reno Aces.  What a treat! 

Many tee box sponsors added to the day's fun with their own games and giveaways. We also had many different contests to add to the excitement.  On Hole 4 we had a Closest to the Pin contest that Steve Kent with Henry won.  On Hole 8 we had a Money Hole in One contest sponsored by Belgard Hardscapes.  Unfortunately, no one won that contest.  Hole 10 had the Straightest Drive Contest that David Harper from Belgard Hardscapes won.  Moving on to Hole 15 we had the Longest Drive Contest.  Nick Koch with Koch Elevator won that contest.  On Hole 16 we had the Mega Hole in One (a trip to Hawaii) that again, unfortunately no one won.  We also had the Putting Contest that Daniel with MD Construction & Consulting, Inc. won, and our Chipping Contest was won by Brent Haygarth, playing on the Ferguson team. 

We have a lot of teams that played really well and that resulted in a tie for second and third.  To break the tie, we use the score of the back nine.  In third place with a score of 55 was Galletto Construction.  In second place, also with a tie of 55, we have Ground Up Construct, LLC.  And our tournament winners with bragging rights for the next year, is Fine Finnishing with a score of 52.
