California Craftsman is Partnering with Weather Shield Windows & Doors

AUBURN, CA – TRUCKEE, CA (March 16, 2020) -- California Craftsman is proud to announce the addition of another quality and innovative manufacturer to the mix.  Weather Shield combines artistry and engineering to create high-end clad windows and doors helping architects, builders and homeowners push the boundaries of possibilities. Founded in 1955 and family owned by the Shield’s, Weather Shield emphasizes beauty with exceptional quality. Based in Medford, WI and serving the nations needs for quality windows and doors.

Weather Shield’s Contemporary Collection NEXT GEN Sliding Patio Door is transforming the sliding door category with larger sizes, improved overall performance, superior operation and an advanced low-profile sill design. Where other sliding doors may force consumers to make choices between narrow profiles and higher performance, this reimagined design delivers both. What makes this door unique from other doors in the market is its advanced hardware system. By throwing a single lever, the active door panel shifts inward perpendicular to the wall. This shift releases the perimeter sealing gaskets, allowing the door to slide effortlessly with little friction. When the door is in the locked position, the panel is drawn in to create an exceptionally tight seal with multiple lock points on both stiles. A wept 1-1/4” low-profile sill diverts water away from the interior. An optional direct-glazed version of the door expands the visible glass, giving a clean, modern look.

For more information about Weather Shield products, call 530-887-1857, or visit www.weathershield.com.
