I began my career in construction 40 years ago in Northern Nevada. I started my journey working in industrial concrete and erecting steel buildings and pre-fabricated homes and eventually moved into residential production framing.
In the late 1970’s I began custom home building in the Lake Tahoe area working on several large custom homes around the lake. In 1986 I moved to the island of Kauai and worked on many custom beach front homes on the island and also worked foundation-to-finish on a major remodel of the Sheraton Hotel in Princeville Kauai.
I relocated to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1990 and continued working on large custom homes from Mill Valley to Saratoga. I obtained my California General Contractor’s License and began specializing on home additions, remodels, and custom designed decks.
Now relocated back to the Lake Tahoe area I am concentrating my efforts on small additions and framing, interior trim and mouldings, as well as custom deck design and installation. I am a very hands-on contractor and prefer to take on smaller jobs that would involve no more than two or three workers to complete.
I have been building and remodeling homes for long time and working on custom homes has given me the skills and appreciation for high quality craftsmanship which I bring to every job no matter how small. I am good at what I do, meticulous about my workmanship, and attentive to my client’s needs and desires for their projects.
